The Book

Midwives of Now

Ch 4: The Return

Return is not a destination.

It is a cycle.

A rhythm.

A sacred dance with time and self.

We return to ourselves again and again.

To the parts we lost,

to the parts we buried,

to the parts that wait quietly beneath the noise.

Return is the midwife’s song.

It is the call that pulls us back when we have wandered too far.

It asks us to slow down.

To listen deeply.

To notice what has shifted.

Return is not about fixing what is broken.

It is about remembering what has always been whole.

It is a practice of coming home:

to the body,

to the heart,

to the soul.

In the return, we find grace.

We find strength.

We find the courage to face what we once ran from.

And in returning, we begin to birth something new—

a life rooted in truth,

in love,

in presence.

The return is not easy.

It asks us to face discomfort,

to sit with uncertainty,

to embrace the unknown.

But, it is also where transformation lives.

Where healing begins.

Where the Midwife of Now gathers her power.

To return is to choose yourself.

Again and again.

No matter what has happened.

No matter how far you have strayed.

Return is the sacred path home.

And it is always waiting.
