Ch 5: The Fire
Fire is the element of transformation.
It burns away the old,
clears the way for the new,
and lights the path forward.
The fire is not something to fear.
It is a sacred force.
A fierce and tender energy that holds both destruction and creation.
To live in the fire is to live with courage.
To face the unknown without turning away.
To allow yourself to be changed,
to be shaped by the heat and the light.
The fire reveals what is no longer needed.
It cracks open the hardened places,
melts the armor,
and exposes the heart.
It is both a challenge and a gift.
A test and a teacher.
The Midwife of Now embraces the fire.
She does not run from it,
nor does she try to control it.
She listens to its rhythm.
She moves with its pulse.
She lets it purify her,
and through her, the world around her.
Living the fire means holding space:
for yourself,
for others,
for the unfolding mystery.
It means choosing love over fear,
even when the flames feel overwhelming.
The fire is the crucible of becoming.
And from its ashes,
new life will rise.
