A Book in Progress
The world is collapsing and being reborn at the same time.
Old systems are breaking.
Political structures crack.
Economic models fail.
The climate accelerates faster than our stories can keep up.
What we thought was solid is loosening.
And beneath the chaos, a quieter question keeps pulsing:
What if this isn’t only an ending?
What if something is trying to be born?
This book lives inside that question.
What This Book Holds
The Midwives of Now is part memoir, part reflection, part companion for those who feel themselves standing at a threshold they didn’t choose — but can’t turn away from.
It’s shaped by twelve years of living close to the edge:
stage IV cancer, death, displacement, wildfire, and the repeated dismantling of what once felt certain.
Not as theory.
As lived experience.
At its heart, this book explores field resonance — the way internal state shapes external reality, the way consciousness participates in what unfolds, whether we acknowledge it or not.
Again and again, it returns to the same lived inquiry:
how do we hold coherence when everything familiar is burning?
Not through force.
Not through strategy alone.
But through the frequency we carry while standing in the fire.
The Terrains You'll Move Through
The book unfolds in three movements, each marking a different relationship to the threshold.
Part I: Womb of Knowing
This is the moment of recognition — when something in you knows you can’t go back. You’ll meet the idea of threshold tending, the ache of the great disconnect, and the quiet invitation into a different way of being present with collapse and emergence.
Part II: Awakening the Midwife Within
Here the ground becomes more tactile. We explore how resonance works in lived experience, how moral frequency is held rather than performed, and what it means to engage the world without burning yourself to ash. Power, story, presence, and sacred activism are approached gently — as practices of coherence, not heroics.
Part III: Flame Keeper — Living the Flame
This is where it gets honest. Where nothing is theoretical anymore. When you’re midwifing yourself back to life, learning to love without rescuing, creating without certainty, and standing steady inside undoing. The Midwives speak most clearly here — not to explain, but to be felt.
Throughout, each chapter weaves personal story (cancer, fire, loss, survival) with universal patterns — how fields organize, how coherence stabilizes chaos, how change is midwifed rather than forced.
You’ll Encounter Reflections On
-
- living with stage IV cancer as a field practice, not a battle
-
- why the warrior story eventually collapses — and what replaces it
-
- how changing the story you live inside changes the field around you
-
- why shared coherence matters more than agreement
-
- what’s actually happening beneath the patriarchal death rattle
-
- who threshold tenders are, and why they’re emerging now
-
- how to stay present when the ground won’t stop moving
This Book May Be For You If
-
- you’re exhausted from fighting and sense another way is possible
-
- you feel something sacred moving through the chaos, but can’t yet name it
-
- you’re navigating illness, loss, or profound change and don’t want to do it alone
-
- you’re allergic to platitudes and strategies that ignore consciousness
-
- you want to understand how inner coherence shapes outer change — without bypassing reality
How This Book Is Being Shared
The book is written — all three parts, cover to cover — and it’s also still alive.
I’m sharing it chapter by chapter, alongside essays and series, because this work isn’t static. It’s shaped in real time by lived experience, listening, and refinement.
This is writing from inside the threshold, not above it.
Not from certainty, but from presence.
Some chapters are polished.
Some are still breathing into their final form.
All of them are honest.
This isn’t a book about positive thinking or political positioning.
It’s about the place where consciousness meets matter.
Where survival depends on coherence.
Where tending the threshold means learning how to stay.
